Ukrainian Authorities Arrest Operator of Major Botnet

Authorities stated that the suspect found clients on hacker forums and in private Telegram chats, and processed payments through electronic payment systems banned in Ukraine, such as Webmoney.

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) emphasized in its statement that during searches conducted at the suspect’s registered and actual residences, “computer equipment containing evidence of illegal activity” was seized.
