Toronto Police Officers Call for Backup After Consuming Edible Marijuana
Two police officers in Toronto, Canada, reportedly consumed edible marijuana while on duty, which led to an unusual situation requiring backup. According to reports, the officers experienced hallucinations after ingesting the edibles. As a result, one of the officers called for assistance over the radio.
When backup arrived, they found the two officers sitting in their police car. During the response, one of the assisting officers slipped and suffered a head injury. All those involved were taken to the hospital for treatment.
It is noted that an anti-drug raid had taken place in that area of Toronto the previous day, but it is unclear whether the affected officers participated in the operation. No charges have been filed against the officers, but an internal investigation has been launched to determine if their actions met professional standards.
The incident has attracted attention online, with a humorous video titled “Stoned Police Officers” circulating and bringing smiles to viewers.
