Tails 4.24 Release: Key Updates and Features

Tails 4.24 Distribution Released

The specialized Tails 4.24 distribution (The Amnesic Incognito Live System) has been released. Tails is based on the Debian package base and is designed to provide anonymous internet access. Anonymity in Tails is ensured through the Tor system. By default, all connections except those routed through the Tor network are blocked by a packet filter. User data is encrypted when using the persistent storage mode, allowing data to be saved between sessions. The release is available as a 1.1 GB ISO image that can run in Live mode.
