THC-Infused Beverages Gain Popularity in Minnesota

THC-Infused Beverages Are Booming in Minnesota

THC-infused beverages with low concentrations are rapidly gaining popularity in Minnesota. Interestingly, recreational cannabis has only been legal in the state for about a month. However, thanks to the 2018 Farm Bill, which allows the sale of delta-8, delta-9, and other intoxicating cannabinoids containing up to 0.3% THC, Minnesota’s beverage market has seen a surge in cannabis-infused drinks.

According to MJBizDaily, THC beverages have attracted a large new audience, including people who previously did not use marijuana. Now, in Minnesota, you can buy these drinks just like any alcoholic beverage.

A Boost for Local Producers

The “boom” in THC beverages has been a boon for local producers, including Surly Brewing Co., one of the state’s largest independent craft brewers. Other local cannabis brands have joined the industry as well, such as the well-known California-based beverage producer Cann, which is one of several companies shipping THC products from Minnesota nationwide.
