Rohan Marley to Launch Lion Order, a New Therapeutic CBD Brand
Rohan Marley, one of the sons of the legendary reggae musician Bob Marley, announced the creation of his own therapeutic CBD brand called “Lion Order” on February 22. In a brief message on his social media pages, Marley shared that his company, which will offer a wide range of therapeutic products based on natural CBD oil, is set to launch in the United States just in time for April 20 of this year.
“The symbol of the organization will be the Lion of Judah crest, a symbol of Rastafari and King Haile Selassie of Ethiopia, as well as a symbol of faith and unity for all humanity,” Marley stated. “With this, we want to demonstrate the purpose of our products: namely, that cannabis-based medicines heal both the body and the spirit, allowing people to live an honest, true life, rather than the values imposed on us daily by the forces of Babylon.”
The main production partner for the company is Heavyweight Heads, a cultivator based in Michigan known for winning several recent Cannabis Cup festivals. The company owns the Orangutan strain, which took first place at the regional Cannabis Cup People’s Choice Edition in 2021. According to company representatives, Lion Order has commissioned a whole line of strains and hybrids, which will be introduced to the public closer to the brand’s grand opening date.
It’s also worth noting that Lion Order is the latest in a series of ventures by Rohan Marley, who, before his music career, was a well-known and successful American football player. Currently, Rohan also owns other highly profitable and successful “Marley” brands, such as Marley Coffee and House of Marley, which produce natural coffee and signature audio equipment, respectively.
In addition to CBD medicines, the new company will also sell a wide range of other products, including clothing and various accessories made from natural hemp, as well as cosmetics and dietary supplements containing CBD and other cannabinoids.
