Farmers Near Vladimir Launch Industrial Hemp Cultivation Experiment

Farmers in the Vyaznikovsky District of the Vladimir region have become participants in an agricultural experiment aimed at reviving hemp cultivation. According to experts, industrial hemp could serve as a good alternative to cotton and flax, and can also be used to produce ropes, maritime equipment, and other products.

The experiment to grow hemp in the village of Sergiyevy Gorki, Vyaznikovsky District, Vladimir region, became possible thanks to local entrepreneurs who are ready to invest in the project, according to “Narodnye Novosti” citing “Vladimirskie Vedomosti.”
