Panama Legalizes Medical Use of Cannabis
Panama has become the first country in Central America to legalize the use of cannabis for medical purposes. On Thursday, President Laurentino Cortizo signed a law regulating the use of medical cannabis in the country, according to the EFE news agency.
The new law establishes a registry of individuals and businesses authorized to cultivate cannabis for medical use. This move positions Panama as a pioneer in Central America regarding medical cannabis legislation.
