Marijuana Use Increases Demand for Delivery Apps and Fast Food

According to a recent survey of nearly 6,000 people, daily marijuana smokers in the United States are changing consumer trends by purchasing more frozen foods and placing more orders through delivery apps. One of their favorites is the pizza chain Little Caesars.

• The average age of cannabis consumers has decreased, with many now being young people with low incomes.
• Two-thirds of respondents use marijuana several times a week, and 38% use it daily.
• These daily smokers spend most of their money on snacks and drinks, beer, frozen pizza, sandwiches, and other fast food items.
• CBD consumers were generally older, had higher incomes, and made more responsible dietary choices.
