Medical Cannabis in Australia Is Popular With Almost Everyone

A recent survey in Australia found that most patients using cannabis for medical purposes report an improvement in their symptoms. The survey included over 3,300 adults, with 73% using prescription cannabis products and 27% using cannabis from the unregulated market. Patients mainly smoked flower or used extracts to treat pain, mood disorders, and sleep problems.

The results showed that 97% of people noticed an improvement in their condition after starting medical cannabis. However, there were some side effects. The most common were dry mouth, increased appetite, and drowsiness. Not such a big problem, right?

Researchers noted that patients using legal cannabis products were more likely to know the composition of their medications and preferred them for consistent dosing, ease of access, effectiveness, and minimal side effects.

It’s worth noting that, according to a recent study, 57 countries have already passed laws legalizing medical cannabis.
