Shiba Budz Crypto Holders to Be Rewarded for Growing Virtual Cannabis

Owners of the new Shiba Budz (BUDZ) cryptocurrency, launched on the Ethereum (ETH) blockchain, will be able to earn rewards for growing virtual cannabis and completing other in-game tasks.

Shiba Budz Project Launches Cannabis-Themed Token Presale

The Shiba Budz startup team has developed a smart contract for minting coins, which has successfully passed an audit. As a result, the platform’s creators are inviting everyone to participate in the recently launched BUDZ presale. Tokens are being sold on the Shiba Budz website for Ethereum, Polygon (MATIC), and other digital assets at a rate of $0.0007 per token. Before purchasing, users must register, provide personal information, and agree to the terms of service. BUDZ tokens can be sent to any crypto wallet that supports ERC-20 tokens, such as MetaMask.

The creators of Shiba Budz have combined the popular Shiba Inu meme dog with cannabis to create a unique ecosystem. One of its products will be a game accessible to cryptocurrency holders. Gamers will be able to build a cannabis farm or trade virtual marijuana to earn BUDZ tokens. These tokens can be exchanged for other digital assets or fiat currency and withdrawn to a bank card.

In the next phase of the project, the developers plan to release a beta version of the TreeHouse crypto wallet, followed by the launch of the Shiba Budz staking service for earning profits by locking up tokens, and listing BUDZ on decentralized exchanges. The total supply of BUDZ will be 4.2 billion tokens, with 10% allocated to customers of Cookies cannabis stores, founded by rapper Berner.

Can Shiba Budz Repeat the Success of Pepe?

Analysts who closely follow the meme coin market believe that Shiba Budz has a chance to surpass competitors like the dog-themed Shiba Inu (SHIB) and the frog-themed Pepe (PEPE) coin in popularity. Since trading began in April 2023, the price of Pepe skyrocketed dozens of times, but then quickly dropped by 84%.

Currently, Shiba Inu and Pepe rank second and third, respectively, among meme cryptocurrencies by market capitalization. The total value of SHIB in circulation is $4.9 billion, while PEPE stands at $277.3 million. Given the maximum supply of Shiba Budz, BUDZ would need to reach at least $0.0661 per token to surpass PEPE’s market cap. This would require the cannabis-themed coin’s price to increase 94 times from its presale value—a highly unlikely scenario.
