Boston Duo Invents Chocolate to Counter Cannabis Side Effects

Boston Family Duo Creates Chocolate to Relieve Cannabis Side Effects

A mother-and-son team from Boston has developed a product called Soft Landing, designed to help alleviate unexpected side effects from cannabis use, such as anxiety or paranoia.

Eli Stoloff and his mother, Alice Stone, created this chocolate to help cannabis consumers better manage their euphoric state. Stone, an entrepreneur specializing in alternative treatments, came across a medical journal article describing a naturally occurring molecule found in various herbs and spices. This molecule has a suppressive effect that can counteract the effects of THC.

To test their product, they conducted a medical survey, which showed that 80% of respondents rated it as “effective” or “very effective.”

Stoloff and Stone are confident they have found the right formula for success. Soft Landing is preparing to launch in Massachusetts and is actively seeking additional investment to scale up production.
