Rosgvardiya Uses Government Procurement to Learn Drug and Psychotropic Prices

The Far Eastern Supply Center of Rosgvardiya has decided to find out the prices of narcotics and psychotropic substances. This information was discovered by “ChTD” on the government procurement portal.

The agency is interested in the prices of morphine, ketamine, and sodium oxybate. “The last substance is a rather serious psychoactive drug, often used by rapists to ‘prepare’ their victims. The list also includes the opioid analgesic fentanyl and sedative substances such as phenobarbital, diazepam, and trimeperidine. The last two are used, for example, in cases of psychosis,” notes “ChTD.”

The deadline for providing price information was January 27, 2022, so the agency should already be aware of the rates. However, neither the accompanying documentation nor the website mentions the results of the inquiry.

According to the request, Rosgvardiya is interested in the prices of these substances because it plans to purchase medicinal drugs. The procurement itself is supposed to be completed by February 1 of this year.
