Fake Blogs: The New Plague on Telegram
Hello friends, this is Pavluu. Today I want to talk about something called fake blogs on Telegram and why they’re a problem—a cancer on the messenger’s body. Do you read “Zakladchik’s Blog”? Or “The Dungeon”? Maybe you’re subscribed to “Let’s Argue”? Let’s get to the bottom of this mess once and for all 🙂
How It All Started
My first encounter with an obviously fake and talentless “author’s” blog was when I found the “Homeless Blog.” I can’t find the channel now, but the link was @homelesschannel. The admin was some guy called Homeless Roma, who talked like a school kid and sold overpriced ads. For a promo, he wanted 30k, for example. Not bad for a “homeless” guy, right? Here’s all that’s left from my chat with him.
For those who missed this blog, here’s a quick rundown: it was full of obviously made-up stories, totally unrealistic characters like “Zinka the homeless woman,” “Tolya the alcoholic,” and other nonsense that only a school kid or someone with a serious lack of intelligence would believe. Over time, the stories got more boring and uninteresting, and ad returns dropped to zero. I was unlucky enough to buy an ad there and ended up paying 50 rubles per subscriber, but that’s not the point.
When the authors ran out of ideas and realized that making up crazy stories like “drank vodka with Tolya the homeless guy in a basement and fell asleep hugging him” was pointless because everyone was sick of it, they decided to just sell the channel (or rebrand it themselves) as a “vulkan” and scam the last bit of their audience. But apparently, this was just the beginning of something bigger.
The Fake Zakladchik and Why I Don’t Like Him
Right after the “Homeless Blog” hype died down, the “Zakladchik’s Blog” appeared, previously at @kladmanchannel.
As someone who knows a bit about modern drug dealing, I got interested and started reading. I came across a year-old video, which was staged, and the caption claimed it was related to the channel. In the video, some “stash hunters” were being beaten for stealing a master stash. The channel’s author said it was his subscriber and posted a fake chat, claiming it was him in the video. I can’t find it now—they either made the channel private or changed the link.
I laughed because I realized the blog was probably fake. Then I started noticing the same banality and lack of talent, and the content quality kept dropping, leaving a bad impression and making me distrust these kinds of projects. The channel was buying ads and growing, and many praised its returns, but the content kept getting worse, so I lost interest and stopped reading.
I discussed all this with one of my admin friends, and he said:
I look at the links: @homelessCHANNEL and @kladmanCHANNEL and think, “What the hell? Are these the same guys? Homeless-stashers?”
“The Dungeon” or the Inmate Who Doesn’t Exist
This childish sandbox, I’ll probably piss on it first, then explain what’s wrong with it.
Then came @prisonCHANNEL. The author tells a touching story about going to prison for drugs but gives no details—not even which part of the law he broke. Just “228.” What did you get locked up for, kid?
Oh right, it’s some kind of vertical movement, right? You were homeless, then a stasher, and then you got locked up? Only a complete idiot would believe that.
90% of the content is made-up stories that are easy to spot. For example, there’s no such lawlessness in prison now. People aren’t killed by mobs, there aren’t daily fights, and people don’t stab each other all the time. Those are stereotypes from old, crappy movies. That stuff is from the last century, though there are exceptions even now.
Here’s what the author of a REAL author’s blog, “Angry Customs Officer,” thinks about this channel:
[Quote omitted for brevity]
Also, this “inmate” bought an ad from my friend, who REALLY DID 10 YEARS in a high-security prison. Here’s his channel: https://t.me/vnevole. And then the “Dungeon” guy started stealing his original content. How about that? Here’s the latest post from that jerk in “The Dungeon.”
See? Your eyes aren’t deceiving you. This scumbag is stealing original content from someone who’s actually in prison. In a high-security camp. And values his channel. Damn!
This was the final straw that made me write this takedown. But first, I messaged him.
This little rooster realized things were heating up and just disappeared. Well… Hello, Oleg! Which camp are you in, buddy? With Wi-Fi and unlimited phone access? Is this Norway?
What’s Wrong with “The Dungeon”?
- The channel’s author says his name is Oleg. The admin is also Oleg, but says he’s “free” (see screenshot above). Are you nuts? Couldn’t you come up with a different name? And these fake bloggers write that Oleg is in prison… Dima is our “zakladchik,” right? Two liars.
- The channel grew by 40k in a month and a half. Rumor has it they spent 500k on ads. I checked the ad buys… Maybe. There are a lot of good channels, but also a lot of garbage. I won’t argue, maybe. But it’s suspicious: such a rapid boost in a short time is fishy. I suspect they’re adding bots during ad campaigns, but I have no proof, so I won’t claim it as fact.
- The channel’s author denies being part of the fake blog network. But the main character in this group actively helps him grow the channel. Hi, Dima! What’s next? Smuggler’s Blog? 90s Guy’s Blog? Or Idiot’s Blog? At least that one would be real!
“Let’s Argue” or Another Piece of Trash
Not long ago, the admin of “Let’s Argue” messaged me about advertising with the inmate, and I thought we’d talked before. I did the ad, then noticed his channel grew by 5k in just a week. That made me suspicious. How?
I checked his first ad, and…
Guys, I even envy your productivity in churning out this crap. You must be great bullshitters in real life too. And you know your shit—literally. Which kind tastes best, in your opinion?
Why Do I Think They’re All Connected?
For some reason, these latent “vulkanologists” deny it and say their projects are separate and unrelated.
- Proof number one. All their channel links have the “-channel” postfix. I know lots of people do that, but just look: @homelesschannel @kladmanchannel @prisonchannel. What more is there to say?
- Proof number two. The writing style is similar everywhere. There’s a certain tone to whoever’s doing the content. They always speak in generalities, rarely give specifics. These guys don’t know what they’re talking about. At best, a couple of stories from the internet shape their whole idea of a lifestyle, lol.
- Proof number three. These guys have a rule: they buy ads in author blogs where “activity is at least 50% of subscribers.” For example, the channel https://t.me/vnevole from my network, which is actually run by a real inmate and from which they steal content. Also, “Notes of a Prisoner” advertised “Let’s Argue!”, but for some reason, Telemetr doesn’t show it. All their channels were advertised in “Notes.”
- Proof number four. Recently, Dima messaged everyone offering to buy ads in Zakladchik. “Will you guarantee? 7 rubles?” I laughed. But that’s not the point. He messaged a lot of people, and many bought ads. Then this happened: Dima “sells” the channel to another admin and disappears, the new admin doesn’t post any ads and just ignores everyone who bought a post. Meanwhile, “The Dungeon” keeps growing. Then the admin reappears and says: [quote omitted]. Realizing things were getting hot, he started refunding people, but only partially. Maybe he bought ads in “The Dungeon,” buddy? What car, man? They just wanted to scam people, but got scared of losing advertisers, so they decided to give the money back.
- Proof number five. For some reason, they use real names, not nicknames. Think about it: Dima, Oleg, Roma, Max. It’s a weak proof, but still. Only in “Let’s Argue” does the person use the nickname “Lovelace,” but the punctuation and style are very similar to Dima’s 🙂
Why Did I Write All This?
The “last straw” was these bastards stealing content from our inmate. That’s low. Our guy risks his safety to take photos for his subscribers, and these jerks just steal them. I want everyone to know they’re fakes.
I’m not trying to ruin their reputation or affect ad sales in these channels. I just want to draw attention to their quality, which is just awful. I suspect this could all blow up when our fake bloggers run out of creativity again.
I’m not going to drag this out or stir up more conflict. I’ve shown the facts. So let the fake bloggers just go to hell. They shouldn’t have stolen content and lied to all the admins. I’m tired of it, guys.
If bots start hitting my channel after this article is published, it’ll only prove that the fake bloggers are also pumping bots during ad campaigns. Again, I’m not sure they do this, but I have my suspicions.
In the 21st century, you are what you subscribe to. Be selective, even about that, my dear subscriber.
