NLP: The Golden Sphere Technique
Welcome, everyone! This is Stalilingus. Today, I want to share with you a technique for establishing a powerful rapport (successful communication and connection). Let me say right away: to make this work, you’ll need to practice a lot. I trained for two weeks before I felt the first results. Some might say that’s a long time for one technique, but trust me—the results are so powerful, you won’t regret it. However, the technique is quite challenging.
This method is based on things like theta brain waves, esoteric energy, and similar concepts. The technique was adapted into a more practical form by Philip Bogachev—huge thanks to him. The original source is Elroy Carter.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Identify the person you want to build rapport with.
- Recall the feeling you get when you’re with an old friend who supports you in your actions. This emotional background will be very helpful for this exercise.
- Vividly imagine the person you want to connect with. What is their posture? What are they wearing? How do they move? Or are they still? The more detailed your mental image, the stronger the rapport you’ll be able to establish.
- Mirror their image as much as possible—match your body position, breathing, and movements to theirs.
- Now, imagine yourself leaving your body and entering the other person, as if you’re dissolving into them. Get used to being in this new body and look at yourself from their perspective. Notice how comfortable you feel being near yourself. If something feels off, adjust your own body in your mind until you feel completely comfortable.
- Notice that you feel comfortable, and pay attention to where in your physical body you sense this comfort. Usually, it feels like a sphere or ball located in the solar plexus area. This sphere has a dual connection: when you feel more comfortable, it grows larger, and if you mentally make it bigger, your sense of comfort in communication increases significantly.
- Make sure the sphere is working—play with its size and notice how your body feels. Everything good? Great, the technique is working. Return to your own body, and you’re ready to meet this person. You’ll be amazed at how much more comfortable your interaction will be.
You can even use this technique in the presence of someone, like if you’re sitting at different tables in a bar. After successfully using the sphere, the other person (for example, a girl) may show clear signs of sexual attraction, making it a great time to approach and start a conversation.
I highly recommend practicing the “Golden Sphere” technique as often as possible, so your unconscious mind learns to establish incredibly strong rapport automatically.

- I mostly practiced this in clubs and at private parties with friends, often with people I barely knew or didn’t know at all.
- If you know you’ll be meeting someone, do the technique at home in advance. Then, when you meet, quickly run through it in your mind.
