Healthy Dry-Cured Sausages with Hemp Seeds Developed in the Urals
The Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Engineering at the Ural State Agrarian University has introduced a new recipe for healthy dry-cured sausages featuring hemp seeds. According to the university, crushed hemp seeds are a valuable source of protein as well as essential Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids. The raw materials are sourced from hemp varieties that are legally approved for cultivation in Russia.
In addition to hemp seeds, the sausage recipe includes lean pork, salt, pepper, paprika, a preservative, and an acidity regulator. Biotechnologists believe this new product will appeal to people who are mindful of their diet and lead an active lifestyle. While these sausages wonβt cause any psychoactive effects, they can easily help replenish your energy. The hemp seeds in the sausages also provide amino acids, minerals, and vitamins.
