Police Seize 10 Kilograms of Drugs from Woman in Vinnytsia Region

A resident of the village of Kinashev in the Vinnytsia region was found cultivating marijuana. Law enforcement officers confiscated about 10 kilograms of drugs and 1,053 plants, according to SobKor.

The press service of the National Police of Ukraine reported that 10 kilograms of processed, ready-to-use drugs were stored in the woman’s house. Police also discovered equipment for processing the drugs, electronic scales, packaging bags, and other related items.

In the attic of her house, the woman had set up a drying area for the plants.

Unusual Explanation and Legal Consequences

The offender tried to convince the police that she intended to use the marijuana to make facial cosmetic products. The woman now faces up to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property.
