How to Buy Mary Jane Abroad? V.3
Hello to all subscribers! This is Pavluu, and you’re reading the third part of my author series on buying MJ while on vacation abroad, especially for those who don’t know how to bring stuff through the airport. For the record, I usually use both methods, since I can never calculate the right amount before a trip :))
If you’re interested but missed the previous articles, you can find them here:

In 2019, I visited Turkey, but the whole thing there was about contacting a shop from a well-known platform that operated in Kemer and Antalya via the Vipole messenger. That’s why I didn’t do a breakdown for Turkey in 2019, since the article would have just been an ad for one shop. In 2020, I didn’t travel anywhere, but in 2021 I returned to Turkey and researched the MJ question like never before. This review will be the biggest and most interesting yet. Let’s go!
Basic Safety Rules in Turkey
If you have friends who confidently told you they “easily scored weed in Turkey,” know this: either they lied, or they confused Turkey with Egypt 😉 Many locals react very negatively to such questions and will cross four fingers at you. We stayed in a Turkish neighborhood with almost no Russians, which is also something to keep in mind.
A few safety tips:
- Don’t ask taxi drivers. That’s more of an Egypt thing. In Antalya, 80% of taxi drivers are older men who barely speak English. Younger ones might scam or set you up. By the way, taxi prices are about 1.5-2 times lower than in Moscow.
- Scout the area physically and via maps.me. For example, we noticed a tobacco shop where the seller was clearly stoned, but it was right across from a police station, so we didn’t ask.
- Don’t smoke in public places! This is for fans of European-style vacations. If you want to smoke on the beach, do it in the water or somewhere out of sight. Don’t push your luck—this is a different culture, and while it’s believed that Muslims often smoke using religious loopholes, that’s only partly true.
What About the Darknet?
Of course, we first tried to find Mary Jane in the environment we’re most comfortable with: international darknet marketplaces. To our surprise, there was only ONE seller on White House Market in Turkey, and even then, a friend in the know tipped us off. Shoutout to Pablo.
- Marketplace: http://7yipwxdv5cfdjfpjztiz7sv2jlzzjuepmxy4mtlvuaojejwhg3zhliqd.onion
- City: Istanbul
To register, you need to link your PGP key. The seller only does reliable drops from 10g in Istanbul, so you’ll have to spend about $120 on a round-trip flight from Antalya. The seller can also mail packages from 5g, but you’ll need a postal address. Delivery takes 2-3 days.
Honestly, this is the most complicated and expensive option—but it’s an adventure.
Buying MJ Locally (Personal Experience)
It’s possible to buy weed from locals, though it’s much harder than in Europe and can be more expensive than the above or below options. Here’s my experience and a rough list of people who might help you out.
I regularly visited a private beach in the Lara district and became friends with the beach manager (the guy who sets up your lounger, brings drinks and food, sets up umbrellas, etc.). He was the only one who spoke good English, and we hit it off right away.
Over time, I started tipping him (just 15-20 lira each time), asking how he was, and just chatting. After four visits, I asked if he could hook us up. He agreed, saying that if we hadn’t become friends, he would have refused, but admitted he smokes himself and wanted to join us :))
It wasn’t easy: we waited two days for a dealer’s reply, then he disappeared, so we asked another, and only on the fourth day did we get some buds. We paid just before the deal, i.e., the day before. It was expensive (prices below), but the quality was top-notch—100% photoperiod, possibly even indoor. That’s great, since most local stuff is always outdoor. This time, we found real quality, but the price was steep.
It’s important to understand that you can’t just walk up to a beach worker on your first day and ask for weed. That would be weird, and he’ll definitely refuse and look at you funny for the rest of your stay. Be smart: visit often, chat, tip. The same goes for bartenders—this can be even faster and more effective, as many are in the know.
Here’s a rough list of people to befriend and ask:
- Beach workers (preferably young, English-speaking)
- Bartenders at independent bars (not hotel bars)
- Tobacco shop sellers in remote parts of the city
- Black vendors walking the beaches (buy something first, then ask)
Russians in Antalya: My Experience
I decided to look for Russian chats in Antalya and found only three:
- Chat • Antalya – dead. My message is still there, haha.
- Antalya Forum – a scammer messaged me here and scammed me for 2,000 rubles. It was almost obvious, but I had to check. As you can see, I’m banned now. Still, it’s the biggest chat and you can find housing offers there.
- ANTALYA 🌴Chat, Rentals, Rock’n’roll – a semi-active chat where someone gave me a seller’s contact.
Trusted Seller
I got the contact @NOWASCAM!!!! and was told he could help. I asked for a paid sample to make sure he wasn’t a scammer. The guy was so reasonable that he set up a drop for me in the morning at the agreed price, I confirmed he was legit, and we were off…
First drop:
- Sativa, nice outdoor
- Indica – I liked this one more, but that’s a matter of taste
Valera really impressed me, and I can’t help but mention his shop in this review.
> VALERA’S SHOP < unfortunately, he turned out to be a scammer, don’t buy!
> VALERA’S CONTACT < unfortunately, he turned out to be a scammer, don’t buy!
These guys change accounts from time to time but announce it in their channel. But that’s not the end of the story.
On the last day of vacation, he gave us a free bud, for which I sincerely thank him. He was the most reliable seller I met in Turkey. You can read my reviews in his channel.
UPD: After six months of successful work, he turned out to be a scammer. DO NOT BUY.
What About Prices?
Here’s the juicy part: prices are all about the same, but quality varies.
- Darknet: ~$30-32/g, assuming one person flies to Istanbul (including travel and other expenses). Payment in Monero.
- Locals: ~$35-40/g for outdoor autoflower (quality unknown)
~$70-80/g for outdoor/indoor photoperiod (high quality) - Valera: ~$32-35/g for outdoor autoflower (high quality). Payment in BTC.
With scammers, the price is always lower, and they accept all sorts of QIWI, YuMoney, etc. Don’t fall for it.
That’s basically it. Be careful with these things and never let your guard down—one stupid mistake can cost you your vacation or even your freedom.
If you know how to bring your own stuff safely, I recommend doing so, since you’ll save a lot of money. But if that doesn’t work out, you’ll find all possible options in this article. Although, the best option is pretty obvious :))
Don’t think this material is an ad for any shop—on the contrary, it’s a heartfelt thank you and a way for Russian tourists in Turkey to get MJ at a fair price and absolutely safely: Bitcoin and drops are just standard for us now. You’re welcome.
All the best!
Yours, Pavluu
