Ojas: India’s First Edge AI Chip
Ola also unveiled the Ojas chip, positioned as India’s first “edge AI” chip. It will be integrated into the company’s next generation of electric vehicles. While details about Ojas remain limited, it is known that the chip will support a wide range of ecosystems thanks to its AI-focused architecture.
Sarv-1: Cloud AI Chip
Another new product is Sarv-1, a cloud chip designed for high-performance and efficient cloud computing. However, specific details about its architecture have not yet been disclosed.
Global Partnerships and Future Prospects
To manufacture its chips, Ola plans to collaborate with leading global foundries such as TSMC and Samsung. These developments position Ola at the forefront of India’s technological progress and open up new opportunities in the global AI market.
