DMT as a Way to Change the World Through Near-Death Experiences
Near-death experiences (NDEs) can profoundly change a person’s life. People who return from the brink of death often lose their fear of dying, become more tolerant of others, and start to value spiritual and moral aspects of life over material ones. They tend to act more consciously and show greater compassion. According to Indian researcher Gourab Chatterjee, near-death experiences help restore key moral values that are slowly deteriorating in society.
Those who have had NDEs often describe encounters with both familiar and unfamiliar people, journeys to paradise-like places, vivid sources of light, and out-of-body experiences where they can see and hear everything happening around them. Interestingly, similar experiences can be triggered by DMT (dimethyltryptamine), a powerful hallucinogen. DMT is also known for causing out-of-body experiences, meetings with the deceased, and visits to other worlds.
According to the author, controlled use of DMT is safe. However, uncontrolled use can lead to side effects such as vomiting, nausea, rapid heartbeat, high blood pressure, depression, and psychosis. That’s why DMT use is illegal in the United States. In Brazil, on the other hand, it is not only legal but also protected under laws guaranteeing freedom of religion.
Most people view DMT as a hallucinogenic drug that is harmful to health. However, the researcher suggests using it to raise humanity’s moral standards, believing that in controlled settings, DMT could become an effective medicine capable of elevating consciousness, reducing current worldly problems, and changing the world.
Do you believe it’s possible to create a “magic pill” to improve humanity’s moral standards?
